Class Description:

Metal Scales have been round since ancient times but they were not popular until recently in chainmaille jewelry. This has changed mainly due to new materials and finishes that were not available until recently.

Class Description:

As the name implies, the weave produces a finished piece that is more round in shape over say a box chain and byzantine piece. The base of this pattern is a European 4 in 1 that has been turned into a tube and joined, but rather than do that we will be weaving it in the round.

Class Description:

In this class, students will learn the basics of shading using a single pencil then adding mid and dark tones using the same color of colored pencil. Students will also learn how to blend, better coloring techniques and material selection.

In this class, we will complete an explosion box card with various themes. Explosion Box Cards always not only exciting to receive but to also make. For the class we will create a 4 layer box and lid and embellish the card creating an interactive card that any receiver would love to explore.
